You can prevent other snakes from boosting off your tail by constantly turning left and right as you move around the field. Creating quick turns and corners with your snake will make it more difficult for other players to boost off of your tail, particularly as your snake gets longer.

The goal of the game is survival. In order to stay in the game as long as possible, focus on eating lots of bits instead of going straight for zaps. Grow your tail slowly as your progress and avoid other snakes to survive as long as you can.

If there's nothing going on around you, head towards the king. The crown indicator on the screen helps point you in the direction of the player with the highest score. Other players tend to congregate around the crown as well, so chances are, the closer you get to the king, the more bits you’ll find! You’ll also find much larger snakes to fight, so be ready!
