Grindcraft

Instructions

The only goal in this game is to take your time, gather supplies, and craft whatever you want!

To start, click on the wood icon in the Overworld to start chopping some wood. Once the bar on the bottom of the icon is fully green, the wood will be added to your inventory. The number on the bottom of the icon shows how much you have in your inventory.

Any item with a white background means you have enough resources to craft it! You can craft a variety of resources including weapons (which unlocks the ability to mine, gather food, and defend yourself from mobs), household items, armor, and more! If you get enough resources crafted, you can start to build a civilization.

There are TONS of things to craft! You'll need to read the recipes closely to make sure you get the right resources. To see a recipe, hover over the item you want. The further down the list the recipe is, the more difficult it will be to craft. Take your time and just start with the basics – get as much wood and ore as you can. Those will be the basics to crafting everything else.

What type of game is Grindcraft?

Grindcraft is primarily an idle game that has the main goal of crafting the rarest and most powerful items that you possibly can through small but increasing progress using your materials. It starts with one of the most simple materials you can think of – wood. As you progress through the game, these items will slowly but surely become more available to you.

Part of this progression is due to players being able to create villagers who will do a lot of the hard work for them. You can have villagers due almost everything in the game for you, from mining, to digging, to collecting wood.

What makes Grindcraft so fun?

A lot of the most fun games out there are ones where players are able to make slow and steady progress. It is easy to get discouraged when games slow down to a snail's pace and progress gets very slow. However, in Grindcraft, there is almost always a next step to take. Maybe you need to begin building a library, or getting the right materials to create a new villager. No matter what part of the game you are at, there is something that you can do that will get you closer to the end of the game.
