This Privacy Policy Applies to Our Sites and Apps

This Policy describes how we treat personal information on the Coolmath Games app and the websites where it is located. It describes information we collect from both children and adults. By interacting with us, you consent to these practices.

This policy does not apply to other Coolmath websites, including coolmathgames.com. 

We Collect Information From and About Users

If a person uses our website, we may collect information about their browser used or IP address. We might look at what site a user came from, or visits next.  We may also collect information about what activity the user did or how long the user stayed on our site. If you use our mobile app, we might collect device identifiers. We might look at how often you use the app and where you downloaded it.

We Collect Information Passively

For our traffic tracking, we use Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics. These services use cookies (not the yummy kind) to help us understand our traffic. The information gathered is anonymous and is never tied to any information that may personally identify you. We use this data to understand things like what pages have been visited and how long our users stay on our site. This information is used only for internal purposes and is invaluable to us because it lets us know what you like and want more of, so we can continue to make Coolmath better. It's also really important for us to be able to understand our traffic so we know when we need to upgrade our servers! Without this info, we wouldn't have a clue!

We use information for analytics and to improve our products and services.We might use information to customize a user’s experience with us.

We use information for lesson and game functionality. For example, we may use cookies to allow users to resume their place within a game.

We use information for security purposes.For example, we may use information to protect our company or our users.

We will share information with third parties who perform services on our behalf.For example, we share information with vendors who operate our sites or provide analytics.

We will share information if we think we have to in order to comply with the law or to protect ourselves. For example, we will share information to respond to a court order or subpoena. We may share it if a government agency or investigatory body requests. We might share information when we are investigating potential fraud. 

We may share information with any successor to all or part of our business.

Web You Can Control Cookies and Certain Tracking Tools

Your browser may give you the ability to control cookies.  How you do so depends on the type of cookie.  Certain browsers can be set to reject browser cookies.  To control flash cookies, you can go here.  On our mobile app, we may use analytics tools like Flurry for Analytics. 

Our Do Not Track Policy.Some websites have “do not track” features that allow you to tell a website not to track you. These features are not all uniform. We do not currently respond to those signals.  If you block cookies, certain features on our sites may not work. If you block or reject cookies, not all of the tracking described here will stop.

We Use Standard Security Measures

The Internet is not 100% secure. We cannot promise that your use of our sites will be completely safe. We encourage you to use caution when using the Internet. This includes not sharing your passwords. We keep personal information as long as it is necessary or relevant for the practices described in this Policy. We also keep information as otherwise required by law.

These Platforms and Children

On our app and web sites, we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or legal guardian and think your child under 13 has given us information, you can email us. You can also write to us at the address listed at the end of this policy. Please mark your inquiries “COPPA Information Request.”

You may also request that we do not collect personal information from your child or have your child’s information deleted. To do so, contact us at the email address or phone number below.

We Store Information in the United States

Information we maintain is stored in the United States. If you live outside of the United States, you understand and agree that we may transfer your information to the United States. This site is subject to U.S. laws, which may not afford the same level of protection as those in your country.

We May Link to Other Sites or Have Third Party Services on Our Platforms We Don't Control

If you click on a link to a third party site, you will be taken to websites we do not control.  This includes social media sites. This policy does not apply to the privacy practices of these third parties. Read their privacy policies carefully. If you click on a link to another Coolmath site or service like coolmath-games.com, please note that this policy also does not apply to the privacy practices of those sites.
