Introducing CountForward – Free Financial Literacy Games

We’re excited to announce our official launch ofCountForward by Coolmath Games, a new collection of free financial literacy games. CountForward turns concepts like earning, saving, spending, investing and protecting money into interactive experiences that users will actually want to play. Learning real life skills like taxes or investments doesn’t have to be boring!

“Now more than ever, financial literacy is essential when preparing [players] for life,” said Jonathan Keefer, our Head of Games team. Many people feel out of the loop when it comes to finances, CountForward is our proposed solution to this.

To ensure CountForward by Coolmath Games delivers meaningful learning alongside the fun, Coolmath Games is launching a teacher pilot to put the games directly into classrooms and gather critical educator feedback. Developed with educational experts and informed by state financial literacy curricula as well as the Jump$tart Coalition’s National Standards for Personal Financial Education, the games are designed to align with what students are expected to learn while making complex concepts approachable and engaging.

Teachers are invited to trial a CountForward by Coolmath Games game with their students and share feedback on learning and engagement, helping shape the future of free financial literacy education. Eligible teachers who complete the pilot will receive $200 toward their classroom. Teachers canapply to join the pilot program here.
