Poptropica is a game that only requires you to use your mouse to click around and decide where you want to go. Clicking upward will let you jump toward whatever platform you want to go to. What is nice about this is that Poptropica is an extremely intuitive game. Just point to where you want to go and you will start moving in that direction!
Poptropica Strategies
Poptropica is an easy game to get into. The controls are simple and most of the islands have a lot of tips to help you progress through the game. However, there is a bit of a learning curve that can frustrate newer players. You can read on to check out 5 of our basic tips for beginners. Even if you have been playing the game for a while, there might be a couple of nuggets of information that will be of use.
Choose your island
Right from the get-go, there are tons of different islands that you can choose from. We recommend that you start with whichever one seems the most interesting. Whether you like bunnies, superheroes, or spies, there is something for everyone.
If you aren’t sure where to start, a good island to start with is the 24 Carrots Island. This island has a fun mystery and some interesting mazes that you have to solve. You'll need all of your items and some good problem-solving abilities to help bring carrots back to the town.
Talk to people
There are tons of NPCs (Non-Player Characters) that hang around the various islands of Poptropica. While some of them don’t have much to say, a lot of them will drop hints of where you should go next. If you are ever in a situation where you are stuck and unsure of what to do, just go around and talk to some locals of the island. Odds are that at least someone will be of assistance.
Use your items
As you roam around the islands of Poptropica, you will pick up items that are made to help you. The item may be a pair of glasses with a special ability, or something simple like a bowl of milk. No matter what it is, it will have a use at some point during your journey. You should always be thinking of how you can use these items that you acquire, eventually they will become crucial.
Inspect odd parts of the map
Oftentimes, the most important clues in Poptropica are in weird areas. Maybe it’s a farm at the end of the map or a dark corner at the top of a skyscraper. Whatever odd spot it is, you’ll want to inspect it. The answer won’t always be right in front of you in Poptropica, you will have to go out and seek it out.
Unlock cool outfits
At the beginning of Poptropica, there will be a store where you can unlock different outfits for your character to wear. While these don’t actually serve any strategic purpose, it’s just fun to wear a goofy outfit. You can be a scuba diver, a superhero, or a magician! The choice is yours.
