Switch into high gear and prepare to play this new crossover game, Vex X3M. Combine the silly stickman physics of the Vex Series and the high-octane gameplay of the Moto X3M series, and you’ve got one fun ride ahead. 

How to Play Vex X3M

The controls of Vex X3M are similar to many other motorcycle games you may have played in the past. To accelerate through the map, hold on the UP arrow key. In contrast, to decelerate and start moving backward, hold the DOWN arrow key.

The right and left arrow keys will move your character clockwise and counterclockwise, respectively. This can be useful for when you need to hit the perfect angle that will align you with the ground, or if you want to hit an awesome flip! You will need all four buttons to make it through every single level.

The goal of the game is to make it through all 30 levels and become a dirt bike virtuoso. Bonus points if you can complete every single stage quickly enough to get three stars!

Vex X3M Strategies

There are a lot of different headwinds that you may face while navigating the stormy seas of Vex X3M. It may get a little bumpy along the way, but you can use these four tactics below to increase your chances of making it through every stage and becoming a champion.

Get acrobatic

Landing frontflips and backflips don’t just look awesome; they are a key strategic component of Vex X3M. Each trick that you successfully land will take seconds off of your final time, meaning that you can achieve a higher score at the end of the level. While more casual players may not care much about how many stars they get, some of the more hardcore Vex X3M players refuse to move on to the next level until they get three stars.

Remember your tiles

There are three different colored tiles that you will come across in Vex X3M – blue, purple, and brown. Each of them has a different property, so make sure to remember them. Blue tiles will shatter the second that you ride over them. Purple tiles will shatter at first, but will respawn after a few seconds. Finally, Brown tiles are able to be moved, making them an interesting resource in Vex X3M.

Switch up your bikes

As you maneuver through the game and collect more coins, you will have more options as to what kind of bike you prefer to ride. There are different shapes and colors to choose from, so take your time and find the bike that fits your personality the best! While this technically doesn’t help you navigate around the map any better, nobody ever got worse at Vex X3M by looking their best!

Hit the checkpoints

Throughout the map, there will be checkpoints you will hit. Once these checkpoints are hit, you can go back to them whenever you need to reset. This means that if you are close to the end of a level and hit some spikes, you won’t just respawn at the very beginning of the map. Instead, you will go back to a nearby checkpoint. Take advantage of this and don’t be afraid to make some aggressive moves, the stakes aren’t that high!
