Your objective is to travel across the path, completing the challenges to move from one steppingstone to another. The challenges vary from one zone to another as you make your way to the end of the path.
HOW TO PLAY
Tap on the first CANDY WORD steppingstone to enter the game. You will be shown a grid of candies, cakes and goodies with challenges to complete: Collect a certain cake, use a letter more than once or get a symbol to the bottom of the game.
Swipe a candy either up, down, left or right so that it matches with two or more identical candies. These will then turn into cookie letters. Tap on the cookie letters to spell a word and earn points. The cookies you used will disappear shifting the candies on the board. The more candies you match, the more letters are revealed! Different candies give you different scores when matched together, adding to your Candy Word game total.
Your level objectives are at the bottom of the screen so you can see your progress. As soon as you have completed the challenges, you will have completed the steppingstone and move on to the next.
CANDY WORD TIPS & TRICKS
Move smart. There are only so many moves you can make – if you run out of moves then you must restart the level and play all over again.
More matches, more letters. Remember, the more candies you match, the more letters you can get. The more letters you have, the more words you can make. If you’re missing a letter to complete a word, keep making matches until it appears!
Use power ups. As you play, you’ll earn coins along the way. The more levels you can complete, the more coins you get. You can use these coins to buy power ups – these include:
- Magic quill – add a letter to complete a word when you can’t find enough letter cookies
- Pluck spoon– remove an element from the grid
- Alter liquid – randomly change some elements to letters
- Poison bomb – change elements around a symbol and turn them into letters
