Instructions

In this retro remake, shapes made of four little blocks (also called tetrominoes) fall from the top of the screen. Your goal is to place them and form horizontal lines with no gaps. When you complete a line, it disappears and you earn points.

Shapes fall from above the grid. Tap & drag on a shape to move it. Tap on the shape to rotate it clockwise. Swipe down to move the shape down faster. This will help you place them in the right spots so that it'll be easier for you to form lines.

The next shape to fall will be shown at the top of the screen. Use this information to plan ahead!

TetriX Game Modes

There are three game modes in TetriX, each with their own unique strengths. Experiment with each of them and see which option appeals to you the most.

Timed

Reach the minimum score before time runs out! The Timed game mode is for players who want something fast-paced to get the heart pumping.

Classic

Go for a high score! No bells or whistles in the Classic mode, it's exactly what you're expecting. This is for the TetriX purists who want a straight-up version of the game.

Challenge

It's Timed mode, but with obstacles to avoid! If you are someone who likes extremely challenging games that take a ton of skill to execute properly, then the Challenge mode is certainly worth trying out.
