A Complete Papa's Series Breakdown

Over the last couple of years, we have slowly but surely released every single Papa’s game that we lost due to the end of Adobe Flash. Now that every game is available on Coolmath Games, we thought it would be a good idea to talk about each of the individual Papa’s games and what makes them unique. Each one has its own set of quirks and game mechanics that make it different from the others.

Papa’s Games Offered on Coolmath Games

There are 14 Papa’s games in total offered on our site. We started by bringing back the classics, like Papa's Freezeria, Cupcakeria, and Burgeria, on top of the original Pizzeria, of course. Now, every single one can be played without a Flash converter. Each one of these games really taps into that nostalgia factor that makes it feel special to play.

With that being said, let’s hop into what all 14 of the Papa’s games have to offer, and how they differ in gameplay. We’ll go over each game in order of when it was released, and give you some helpful blogs on how to play some of the more popular ones.

Papa’s Pizzeria

This is the game that started it all, the first of the Papa’s series. Your Papa Louie has left you alone to run the store by yourself. This is no small task to do. Take the orders, make the pizzas, put on the toppings, and serve the customers promptly. It starts out simple, but orders quickly get more complicated and customers line up faster every day.

Papa’s Pizzeria is one of the most popular games due to its simple and classic gameplay. No frills, no crazy tricks, just solid Papa Louie content. It’s an absolute must-play for anyone who is looking to get involved in the series.

Papa’s Burgeria

Papa's Games Breakdown Burgeria Gameplay

One of the first big differences of Papa’s Burgeria is the characters that you are able to select. Unlike every other Papa’s game on this list, players are able to select Papa Louie as the character to play as. Turns out he doesn’t need to head off to somewhere else when there are burgers to be made!

Burgeria is one of the ultimate challenges of multitasking in the series. Players must cook burgers to varying temperatures for customers, all the way from rare to well-done. Along with this, players must add the correct toppings to the burgers and deliver them to customers. It can be a lot to get done, but luckily there are lots of upgrades in this game that can be purchased.

For example, players can purchase a burger warmer that will let them cook burgers for customers in advance. Meat thermometers can also be purchased that will let players know when their meat patty is properly cooked.

With all of the variables that go into Papa’s Burgeria, it can be a little bit overwhelming to play at first. If you haven’t tried it out before and want a quick tutorial, we have a guide on how to play Papa’s Burgeria. It should help you get into the swing of things.

Papa’s Taco Mia

Of course, not everyone wants something as detailed and full of variety as Papa’s Burgeria. Look no further, Papa’s Taco Mia is here and ready to be played! The goal of this one is straightforward – make some delicious tacos for your patrons! There’s no decorating, no mini games, and no side features like making drinks. Taco Mia doesn’t try to be anything that it’s not. If you like simple Papa’s games, this is a great option.

Despite this game being simple, you still might find yourself struggling at times. Not to worry, you can always read our tutorial on how to play Papa's Taco Mia

Papa’s Freezeria

Papa’s Pizzeria is the game most associated with the Papa's games, but Papa’s Freezeria is actually the most played game of the Papa’s series. It has a lot of similarities to Pizzeria, but somehow feels like a more cleaned-up and fast-paced alternative.

The main difference between this game and Papa’s Pizzeria is that you are working as a sundae maker. This presents a whole new array of tasks for you to deal with. Scoop out portions of ice cream, top it off with whipped cream, put on the syrups evenly, and don’t forget the cherries on top! There is more accuracy that is necessary for this game, so skill and timing will be important factors.

There are several other differences that really make Papa’s Freezeria stand out. To learn more about this, check out the blog on how to play Papa’s Freezeria.

Papa’s Pancakeria

Fire up the griddle, it’s time to make some flapjacks in Papa’s Pancakeria! This game has all sorts of fun mechanisms and then some. You can do all sorts of fun activities – decorating pancakes, serving up pancakes with your own dog companion, and serving up drinks. Papa’s Pancakeria is full of design aspects that really make this game feel special.

Papa’s Wingeria

Papa’s Wingeria might not be one of the most aesthetically pleasing games from the series, but it is one of our personal favorites. Not only do you get to make a slew of different wings, but you also get to play some super fun mini games that add an entirely different layer of spice to the game. If you are looking for some good, straightforward Papa’s fun, then Wingeria might be a good option for you.

Papa’s Hot Doggeria

What’s better than a hot dog at the ball park? Well, how about getting to work in the restaurant where they make the hot dogs! Papa’s Hot Doggeria is one of our favorite Papa’s games for a few different reasons. For starters, hot dogs cook pretty quickly, meaning that it’s more fast-paced than most games in the series. You also get to make popcorn, unlock exciting toppings, and create drinks with all different kinds of flavors. Add in the fun and light-hearted aesthetics, and Papa’s Hot Doggeria is definitively a top 5 Papa’s game.

Papa’s Cupcakeria

This is definitely one of the more advanced games from the Papa’s Series. Cupcakeria hits you with some new gameplay options that you haven’t seen before. First of all, players have to decorate two cupcakes at once. This ups the difficulty by quite a bit.

Along with this, there are seven different mini-games that you can play – one for each day of the week. Playing these games will give players some coins to use on upgrades for the cupcake shop.

Papa’s Pastaria

I hope you like multitasking, because Papa’s Pastaria has lots and then some! Draining the pasta, adding toppings, giving the dish to the server who then takes it to the dining room, there’s just a lot going on here. If you love to be challenged and stimulated, then Pastaria will be perfect for you. If you prefer something a little bit simpler, then you might want to try something more basic like Papa’s Pizzeria or Burgeria.

Papa’s Donuteria

Let’s head back to the sweets with Papa’s Donuteria! This game can feel anything but sweet at times, with all of the tasks that you must do. Players must make 3 donuts at a time, which is a lot more multitasking than most of the Papa’s games require.

Along with this, you also have some mini games to tinker with, adding to the excitement and overall maximalism of Papa’s Donuteria. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but we certainly don’t recommend trying Donuteria first if you haven’t played any of the other games from the series.

Papa’s Cheeseria

Who doesn’t love a good grilled cheese? Papa’s Cheeseria is a fun and pretty straightforward Papa’s game. The bulk of your work involves making and flipping some tasty fried bread, complete with a range of cheeses and other mixings. It’s also fun that you get to make your very own fries, whether it be the classic fry or even a batch of curly fries.

If you need some help making the perfect grilled cheese, make sure to check out our blog on how to play Papa's Cheeseria

Papa’s Bakeria

Cut into the slice of fun that is Papa’s Bakeria, the pie constructing game that will fill you with delight. Bakeria is probably one of the prettiest of the Papa’s games, with players getting to construct a pie, and then see how it looks once a slice has been taken out of it. It's not breaking the mold or anything, it's just a solid and consistently fun Papa's game.

Papa’s Sushiria

Papa’s Sushiria is a lot like eating sushi in general – either you really like it or you really don’t. The aesthetics of the game feel different from a lot of other games from the series, but it can also be seen as a welcome change from the norm!

Not only this, but getting to cut each individual piece of sushi is a really fun and unique mechanic. On top of this, there’s also a bubble tea station and an area where you must cook rice. Add in all of the toppings and sauces needed for the sushi, and Papa’s Sushiria becomes one of the harder Papa’s games to play.

Papa’s Scooperia

Get ready for an icy adventure as you scoop and serve ice cream in Papa’s Scooperia. Not only do you have to get perfectly even scoops of ice cream, but you must also bake hot and tasty cookies for the patrons to enjoy.

Papa’s Scooperia falls somewhere in the middle of difficulty compared to the previous Papa’s games, so it's a good game to try out before playing one of the harder games from the series, such as Sushiria or Pastaria. At the very least, it’s certainly worth checking out!
