Each round, you must cast three spells: Whimsy, Sparkles and Goo. You can see the color of each spell in the top left corner of the screen. Click and drag to arrange the order you want to cast them in, then press the green checkmark to go to the movement phase.

In the movement phase, use WASD to move one square. Each time you move, you'll also cast a spell in that direction. Each of the enemies can only be damaged by a specific spell, so the order you set your spells is very important.

• Goo (green) spells damage purple enemies, but do not harm blue enemies.
• Whimsy (purple) spells damage blue enemies, but do not harm green.
• Sparkles (blue) spells damage green enemies, but do not harm purple.
• All enemies heal when hit by a spell of their own color.

You can also tell which spell hurts which enemy by looking at their expression: if they are frowning, that means your next spell will hurt them. If they are smiling, that means your spell will heal them, and if they have a neutral expression then your spell has no effect.

After you move three times (and cast 3 spells) the enemies will all shoot. You can see which direction they will shoot from the tentacles sticking out of their faces. Try to end your turn in a safe square so you don't take too much damage! You only have a limited number of turns to defeat them all, so make your moves count.

Once you get the hang of it, turn the game speed up by clicking at the bottom of the screen.

Once you defeat all the enemies, you will earn a reward from that level. After that, you will go to the world map. Here you can choose which land to go to next. Each area has a different reward, and gives you the opportunity to get stronger. You can only equip one Eye, Robe and Hat, and you'll definitely want one of each before you take on Olgaresh!

When you are ready to face him, return to a tile you've already visited and take him on.

HINT: Grab the coins in each level to buy items at the shop, but watch out: you can destroy them if you hit them with the wrong spell.
